Welcome to the UFO Foundation Website.

The UFO – Utility Facilities Oosterhorn – Foundation is a forum of industrial, semi-industrial and public bodies in Delfzijl and the province of Groningen – The Netherlands, founded in October 1998.

The primary objective of the foundation was initially to contribute to the realisation of sustainable recycle loops of energy, water and waste materials on the industrial site Oosterhorn in Delfzijl. This gradually developed into a body from where activities are initiated with the aim to realise a sustainable industrial infrastructure on the Eemsmond industrial sites:

• To the benefit of the environment
• To the benefit of the production companies that are already active on the industrial sites of the Eemsmond
• To further increase the attractiveness of the industrial sites of the Eemsmond for new industrial establishments: plug and play

Op initiatief van de NV NOM en de stichting UFO wordt thans gedetailleerd bekeken in hoeverre stoomdistributie op het industrieterrein Oosterhorn in Oostelijke richting (Zeolyst, Rohm & Haas, PPG) haalbaar is. Delesto / AUB zou hierbij als producent - distributeur optreden, Groningen Seaports zorgt voor het leidingnetwerk (van hek tot hek).
